Frequently asked questions
Does trimming reduce quality?
With 'Trim only' the original data is copied without re-encoding, so the quality is unchanged and it takes only seconds.
It doesn't cut at the exact second.
To keep the original quality the cut has to start at a keyframe, so the start may move slightly earlier. For an exact cut choose Compress with Original size and High quality.
Can I remove a part from the middle?
One section is kept per save. To drop the middle, save the beginning and the end separately.
Can I remove the sound?
Yes. Turn on Remove sound before creating. If you only need the sound, use Video to MP3.
Is my video uploaded?
No. The video is read and saved again entirely inside this browser on your device. It is never sent anywhere.
