Frequently asked questions
Will tables and images stay in place?
'Extract text' pulls out editable text, so table and image positions may change. To keep the exact look choose 'Pages as images' โ but then the text can't be edited.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Scanned PDFs contain pictures, not text, so 'Extract text' finds nothing. 'Pages as images' still works, or run the pages through our Smart Scanner's text recognition.
Can I open the result in Google Docs?
Yes. Upload the DOCX to Google Drive and open it with Google Docs.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on this device. Files are never sent to a server.
