Frequently asked questions

Can I change the existing text?
Editing text inside a PDF like a Word file often breaks fonts, so cover the old text with White-out and type the new text on top. Pages with white-out are flattened to images when saved, so the covered text can't be recovered.
Can I fill in PDF forms?
Yes. Fillable fields show as blue dotted boxes — tap and type. Checkboxes get a ✓ when tapped. For PDFs without form fields, use the Text and Check tools.
Will I lose my work if I close the page?
Your marks are auto-saved as a draft on this device, so you can pick up with [Continue editing]. The draft is deleted as soon as you save the PDF.
Is the original text still selectable?
Yes. Highlights, text and signatures are added on top, so the original text stays selectable and searchable. Only pages with white-out become images.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on this device. Files are never sent to a server.
