    Frequently asked questions

    Are animations and videos included?
PDF is a static format, so animations and videos are dropped and each slide's final state is captured as one page.
Can I select text in the converted PDF?
No. Each page is captured as a high-resolution image, so text can't be selected or searched. For a PDF with real text, open the file in our Document Viewer and use Print → Save as PDF.
Will it look exactly like the original?
The document is re-rendered in the browser, so special fonts, complex shapes, charts or animations may look slightly different. Please open the PDF once to check.
What about old .doc or .ppt files?
Very old formats (.doc, .ppt) can't be converted. Re-save them as DOCX or PPTX in Word or PowerPoint first. Excel .xls works directly.
    Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on this device. Files are never sent to a server.
