Frequently asked questions
Which barcode type should I use?
CODE128 is the safest choice for inventory, assets and internal labels because it accepts letters, numbers and symbols. Use EAN-13 (or UPC-A in North America) only for retail product numbers you've been assigned.
Can I create barcodes from an Excel list?
Yes. Copy the product name and code columns in Excel or Google Sheets and paste them into the box. The code column becomes the barcode and the name is printed underneath.
How do I print on A4 label sheets?
Set Print layout to โA4 label sheetโ and pick the size that matches your pack (14, 21, 24, 40 or 65 labels). Do one test print on plain paper and set the print scale to 100% (actual size).
Can I scan barcodes with my phone?
Yes. Tap โScan barcodes with your phone cameraโ and point it at the barcode. Each scan is added as a new line. The camera feed never leaves your device.
