How do you play Minesweeper?
Each number shows how many mines touch that cell. Use the numbers to deduce where the mines are and open every cell that isn't a mine.
How do I place flags on a phone?
Long-press a cell to flag it, or turn on Flag mode so every tap places a flag.
Why is the first area already open?
So everyone can play the same board fairly — a mine-free starting area is opened for you, so you never lose on the first click.
Is it game over if I hit a mine?
You can retry the same board. Your record shows which attempt you cleared it on.
