Are amounts saved as numbers?
Yes. Amounts with thousand separators are converted to numbers, so you can total them in Excel right away.
The columns come out misaligned.
Move the 'Column split' slider left (finer) or right (merged) and convert again. Every PDF lays out tables differently, so a little tuning may help.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
No — scanned PDFs have no text data. It works best with PDFs created by software, such as downloaded statements.
